Doug Perrine's Captures Great White Sharks Like You Have Never Seen

My friend Guido over at SeaWay ("your daily source of water") posted this photo of 2 great white sharks like I have never seen them before - naturally feeding without being harassed by human activity.  The image belongs to and was taken by Doug Perrine founder of Seapics which is the leading stock house for high quality marine imagery.  If you are looking for creative ways to liven up your office or home, take a look at some of Doug's prints as they are beautiful and unique.

Most humans don't have the chance to see something like these two sharks feeding naturally - so images like this can accomplish what sometimes takes thousands of words - as you can plainly see the grace and beauty of these white sharks in their natural environment.  The bait fish are sardines which shoal in the waters off South Africa every year in great numbers.  These sardines are vital to every part of the ocean ecosystem from the smallest of creatures to the apex of the food chain which are featured in this image.  The imagery of the sardines is also quite amazing as they shoal close together for protection.

Usually, Quicksilver/Roxy makes me think back to 6th grade when all the cool kids were sporting it... but this collection? I just want to snuggle up in those sweaters with a mug of coffee in front of a fire... at least once it's not in the 90's anymore!
